Ségra s Karlem mě vytáhli na Malvil CUP 2009. Týden před závodem jsem se pokusil intenzivně potrénovat na Říp a zpět.
Ráno bylo chladné, ale slunečné. Zaregistrovali jsme se, a vyrazili na start. Karel dal poslední cigaretu a zařadili jsme se do peletonu cca 800 dalších závodníků. Po slabé třičtvrtěhodince ...

Je to jenom taková blbost, ale třeba se to bude hodit vám z těch, kdož používáte rozšíření Firefoxu vimperator.
Zásuvný modul přidává příkaz :mapa parametry, který vám spustí mapy.cz a rovnou spustí vyhledávání zadaných slov.
Příklad: :mapa novotného lávka 1 praha vyprodukuje http://www.mapy.cz/#mm=ZP@sa=s@st=s@sss=1@ssq=novotn%C3%A9ho%20l%C3%A1vka%201%20praha.

Přestěhovali jsme se s Ájou do Roudnice a začali jsme řešit připojení k Internetu. Ájini rodiče používají nějakého místního WIFI providera, který na zeď přidělal anténu, namířil na Access Point na místní základní škole a aby byl drát co nejkratší, svedl ho hned nejbližším oknem k Ájině sestře do ...

I prepared first version of the GRASS 6.3 packages for ubuntu 8.4 for both, i386 and amd64 platforms.
They are available in http://les-ejk.cz/ubuntu respository
Please, add
deb http://les-ejk.cz/ubuntu/ hardy multiverse
line into your /etc/apt/sources.list file
and
sudo apt-get install grass
NOTE: The WxPython digitizer does not work on AMD64, I’ll be working on it

You can add
deb http://les-ejk.cz/ubuntu gutsy multiverse
line into your /etc/apt/sources.list file.
What is in there:
* Qgis 0.9.0 -- from official QGIS downloads site
* GDAL 1.4.2
Number of packages will slowly increase.

Today, I upgraded my system to Ubuntu 7.10 "GutsyGibbon". I find out, that most of the GIS packages, I was providing are available in current repositories:
* libgdal1-1.4.0 (version 1.4.1)
* proj (version 4.5.0)
* mapserver (version 4.10.3)
* grass (version 6.2.2)
* gpsbabel (version 1.3.3)
only qgis is a bit older, because of the qgis ...

Today, i made the last set of GIS packages for Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn).
There are
GRASS GIS 6.2.1 (stable) http://grass.itc.it
GDAL/OGR 1.4.0 (stable) http://gdal.org
PROJ4 4.5.0 (stable) http://proj.maptools.org
QGIS 0.8.0 (stable) http://qgis.org
GPSBABEL 1.3.3 (stable) http://www.gpsbabel.org
UMN MapServer 4.10 (stable) http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu
Packages are available for both, i386 and amd64 platforms.

I finally managed to get vmplayer up and running (which was really pain in this network), so I tried to
generate first set of amd64 packages of GRASS and related programs. I
also recompiled everything, so it uses GDAL 1.4.0 now.
