Yes, I know, there is a couple of tools, which can be used in order to convert your GPS files to other, in GIS more appropriate format. Namely gpx2shp or ogr in it’s new version. But I simply started to write yet another one.

Currently, it converts only tracks as I’m able to get them from my Garmin 60CSx device using gpsbabel. You can specify, which track to convert. Purpose is, being able to download tracks from yesterday’s bicycle riding.

As output format, I chose GML, because it can be latter converted using ogr2ogr or it can be also used in OpenLayers directly.

So, here it is, enjoy!

P.S.: Want to know, where was I last week with my bike?
